Unable to connect my iPad and iPhone to an Epson ET-8550 AirPrint printer after iOS 18 update

After upgrading to iOS 18 my pad and phone can no longer connect to an Epson ET-8550 AirPrint printer. Mac OS 15 is OK. The devices are all on the same local network. All devices, including router (eero, recently installed by my ISP) have been restarted and printer is using latest upgrades from Epson.

Apple released iOS 18 6½ months ago. Have you been trying and failing to AirPrint from your iPhone and iPad during this entire period of time?
