How can I log into my old iMac when it won't connect to my Bluetooth keyboard and mouse?

I can't login into my old iMac because it won't connect to any of my bluetooth keyboards and mouse. Is there another way to login?

Hello nakau,

Try to use a wired keyboard and mouse to log in. Then check your Bluetooth settings to make sure your wireless keyboard and mouse are paired.

Do you have a wireless keyboard with rechargeable batteries? If you do then connect the keyboard to your Mac with its charging cable. It will act as a wired keyboard. This works with Apple wireless keyboards. Not sure about 3rd party keyboards.

You can try connecting the mouse with its charging cable log in and see if it will pair. I read about this but haven't confirmed that it works.
