Quicktime progess bar has Farenheight temperature numbers instead of minutes and seconds

Hi. I just noticed this today while playing an mp4 video with Quicktime. The time stamps have disappeared.

I only have what look like temperature readings. I upgraded to Sequoia 15.4 a few days ago. Any tips before I freak out?

That displays frames. You can control it via QuickTime Player > View > Time Display: Elapsed Time, SMPTE Timecode, Frame count.

It seems Sequoia 15.4.1 now displays that menu for all movies. Previously it was only enabled for movies where Timecode track was written.

The current stable release of Sequoia including bug fixes, security updates is macOS 15.4.1 - I would start there.

that is Frame not your "Fahrenheit"... ºF (?) Not sure how you came to that conclusion.

use your Help menu if in doubt and make a change to the settings from Frame Count to Elapse Time
