Is ApplePay treating COP as two decimals currency or zero decimal?
The merchant will enter transaction amount and the Payment Network Operator (Visa, Mastercard , American Express etc.) does any currency conversion. Apple Pay just handles encrypted data.
You’re welcome. Apple Pay will encrypt what the merchant enters. However, it could be edited at various points throughout the payment network. The merchant could limit his POS system, merchant’s credit card processor, Payment Network Operator or possibly even the issuing bank (but unlikely). Various national, regional and international banking regulations may also be applied.

Thanks Jeff, let say the merchant enters COP 100 as amount, how Apple Pay encrypted the amount? will be 10000 or 100?
