My iPhone 13 Pro screen is yellow with horizontal lines after the latest iOS update

My iPhone 13 Pro screen went yellow with horizontal lines 😭 It happened after the latest software update! Warranty's expired, but I think it's a software problem, not hardware. No physical damage. Apple store quoted me $279+tax (How come apple will charge customer they make the phone useless after software upgrade).I'm experiencing an issue with my iPhone 13 Pro; the screen has turned yellow with horizontal lines after the recent software update. My warranty has expired, but I believe the problem is software-related, as there's no physical damage. The Apple store provided a repair quote of $279 plus tax. I'm curious why Apple would charge for a repair that seems to stem from a software update that may have rendered the phone unusable.

Flickering iPhone Screen:

It may be hardware damage, but before making that assertion, try the following...


A. Force Restart iPhone:

See if you can fix this with a Force Restart. Go here: Force Restart iPhone - Apple Support


B. Stuck in a Boot Loop:

Tt may be stuck in a boot loop. This sometimes happens when you go about installing an update, and it get stalled while in the process. So, perform my user tip: How to Fix an iPhone in a Boot Loop - User Tip


C. Take a Screenshot:

Try taking a screenshot of your iPhone. Then, see if you see this in iCloud Photos (https://www.icloud.com/photos). If Photos is enabled in iCloud settings, then it would show up. So, see if you see the screen as it should in this screenshot. If so, then it is a software error. If not, then it is a hardware error.
