Why do i get random text messages from different area codes telling me my iCloud storage is full?

Those are scams. Ignore them. Apple doesn’t text you out of the blue. In fact the don’t text you at all, unless you initiate a Support chat with them in iMessage.

I don't generally bother with it either. As you said, it's a spoofed number and blocking it is a waste of time. I just hit the "Report Junk" button and move on.

Not only ignore them but take it a step further. Block that sender and then delete message and report as junk

Yeah you’re probably right. Maybe I’ll block just them and be done with it. My blocked numbers list is completely empty lol.
