Everyday 2 to 3 times a day I get a text saying that my Apple ID has been used to buy something usually the amount varies with each text $999.99 to 189.99 . When I call they tell me to put in a debit or credit card and then they will stop? I said I don’t have a payment card set up on my phone because of identity theft. Everything on my phone was stolen. I have no bank they got it. No credit cards because they maxed them out and I’m in litigation. Being sued by all even with police reports. How can I stop this?

These messages saying that you bought something expensive that you didn’t are scams.

Call the number, and you will be calling criminals who will collect the information needed to rip you off, under the pretense that they need it to process your “refund.”

1. Don’t respond
2. Delete the messages and move on.

The reason why you continue to get them is because you did call. They now know that you are susceptible to believing whatever they say and obviously they want your financial information to drain your account. NEVER call a number provided to you in an email/message. Your contact information is now even more valuable and can be sold to other scammers
