Merlin Bird ID app does not appear in location services
Attempted to use Merlin Bird ID app but could not turn on location services in Settings. Using an IPhone Xr, iOS version 18.4.1.

Turned out the problem was that in Screen Time/Content and Privacy Restrictions I had set Location Services to not allow at some point in time. Changing that to Allow corrected the problem. Thank you for your reply.
