DTMF tones not working properly with iPhone while streaming to Widex hearing aids

Within the last year or so, when I try to use a phone tree on my iPhone the wrong numbers are passed to the phone application. For example if I press 1 they get 11. This only happens if I'm streaming the audio to my Widex hearing aids. It used to work fine but one of the iPhone updates caused it to stop working.

Trouble with in-band tones (DTMF) when using MFI hearing device iPhone 12 iOS 16.6 I use MFI hearing aides. Dialing a telephone number works just fine. However when connected through to a voice response system which then prompts me to input an extension, the system does not understand the subsequent digits dialed (in-band DTMF). Note that if I turn off my MFI hearing aides and repeat this process, everything works fine. The voice response system accurately interprets the extension dialed.

IPhone does not generate DTMF tones Quite often after I have dialed the number and dealing with voice menu where I need to push buttons for various options, the phone fails to generate the tones. I press any number, the screen flashes briefly, but no tone is generated. Usually I am able to "fix" the problem by actions like turning on and off the speaker, or hiding and restoring the keypad - then suddenly it starts working and pushing the buttons generates the tones. This is iOS 16.0 on iPhone 11 Pro Max

No text tones after ios 17 update After updating to IOS 17 my text tones & some app sounds are no longer working? Is there an known issue with this or something that is going to take another update to fix?

If this only happens with your hearing aids, you need to contact the manufacture of the aids. They may not have updated their app for iOS 18.5.
