Cannot restore iTunes backup due to storage

I recently backed up my phone (iPhone 14 Pro Max, 256 GB) since it had to be downgraded from iOS 26 Beta to get the screen changed, and now I am trying to restore the backup from iTunes, but the issue is that the backup is ~290 GB and I cannot restore backup due to my phone being 256 GB.
