Apple Music on Mac skips all songs in queue after pause or sleep for extended period of time

This is happening on both Mac mini and MacBook Air. After pausing for extended period of time, if the computer goes to sleep, then wakes, then press play to continue playing the same music, Apple Music rapidly skips through all songs in the queue including anything in autoplay and does not play anything. I have to quit Music, relaunch, and it plays normally.
