Logic Pro 11 Sticky channel strip fader

I can't get the fader on a particular track to stay where I put it. It will randomly jump to the top of the slide. Channel strip Contains a HiHat and a Limiter. Is there some setting I might have inadvertently turned on? I have no automation on the track. The fact it's a hihat makes it especially annoying

This is in Logic Pro 11.2. I'm using a 2024 M3 MacBook Air 15"

It may very well be possible that you have either "Track" or "Region" Automation? It happens inadvertently to new and pro users all the time. Can you check by clicking the letter "A" and doing this: Be sure to look through both Track/Region automation and all the various parameters that may be in use. Key Command: CMD+Y works well for cycling through used parameters.
