How can I downgrade from iOS 26 to iOS 18.6?
I just updated to iOS 26 PB
Any chance you know how to roll it back to iOS 18.6? Help a friend out?

Here is: How to uninstall iOS or iPadOS beta software - Apple Support
You’ll need to revert to iOS 18. If you have a backup from before the beta, you can revert to that.
If you have no backup and don’t want to lose your data, you’re basically committed to the beta.

The backup you’re trying to restore was created on iOS 26.
You need to restore a backup created on iOS 18.
If you have no backup from iOS 18, your options are to revert to iOS 18 with no restoration, or to continue with the iOS 26 beta.

Nope!, that just prevents future updates. To remove the beta, it requires a computer to reset the device and all data is lost without a previous iOS 18 backup.
I am not so sure but lets see:
Step 1:Go on Settings then General
Step 2:Software Update
Step3:On beta updates click beta updates and it should show you 2 options Off and iOS 26 Public Beta or if you are a Developer iOS 26 Developer Beta press off and tell me what is it showing to you and i can reply to you!
Oh and buckup first your Iphone!!

Downgrading an iPhone form Beta:
Important: Be certain to create a backup of your iPhone prior to bring it in. That way, you can have something to restore your iPhone from, should anything go wrong during the downgrade process.
Well….no….it isn’t. It’s a beta version full of bugs and issues. Fine if you’re happy to test it out on a spare phone, but an absolute nightmare on a phone you’re actually relying on day to day. Hence all the requests for help in getting rid of it.
Modifying the backup is not even an option. Those that tried doing that by following steps provided on some of those other sites found that their call logs were erased and no future calls would be seen in their History. I guess that is a lesson learned for those that tried, and certainly not one that should ever be recommended.
