MacBook Air pages disappearing due to cursor movement

I am constantly pages on my Mac air being closed out and disappear. I do not know how to get them back on. It seems when the cursor has moved a certain way.

Somehow, because of the movement of the cursor, I constantly am losing pages, disappeared to the top or side. Can not get them back
