I've successfully copied the macuser folder to a hard drive. I'm trying to get all of Garage Band projects and their data to a macBook Pro. I also am trying to get Logic Pro and all of it's data (my songs) copied over too. Where do I my my song data for both of these apps? I don't want to lose my work. Please help, aid and advise.

Your Logic Pro data on a Mac defaults to the <username>/Music/Logic folder.
Your GarageBand data is stored in the <username>/Music/GarageBand folder.
Logic Pro includes instruments for your GB data and the Logic Pro Sound Library contains all the Garage Band loops.

thanks for both of your advice - then I've succedded even with Pro Tollsnas well? I have the igrat app and I need to know how to get PTs data onto the other MacBook Pro.
No , not with pro tools. Pro tools has its own migration protocol and I haven’t had much luck with the ingratiation app. I would recommend you go to avid’s website and look up pro tools support.
