Logic Pro for iPad modifier plugin showing “loading from settings”

1 assign a Modifier or Modulator plugin output to a parameter of a synth. In my case Retro or ES2

2 close and reopen the project.

3 the output then shows “loading from settings” but never loads.

issue is intermittent but frequent

most likely to occur when multiple modifiers used

i have tried:

  Restarting the app

  restarting the ipad

  resetting Logic

  uninstalling/reinstalling the app

m4 13” iPad Pro with 2 TB 

os 18.6.2

logic version2.2.1 (729)

seems to be a known issue. ETA for fixing? Very frustrating and painful.
