Recently purchased and set up on my Apple Desktop. I am unable to find state of battery charge when I click on Mouse on the Systems. Have no way of knowing the state of mouse battery charge.

Click on Bluetooth icon in the menu bar at the top of the screen.
Another option is to go to Apple menu > System Settings > Bluetooth.

The system requirements for this new mouse is Mac OS 15.1 or later.
Unfortunately my Mac is running OS Catalina, version 10.15.7. (The mouse will work but will not give state of mouse battery charge.
There have also been many reports of scrolling issues with the latest Magic Mouse if not using macOS 15.1 or later.
