Folders deleted when moving to iCloud

I was trying to move my folders to iCloud from favourites. I dragged them to iCloud, and now when I open these files, they are missing 99% of the things inside them.

When I try and open a document directly from word, this is the message that comes up. Please could someone guide me I have all my work on it and I dont know what to do.
