How do I start page numbers at 1 instead of 126 in Numbers on macOS Sequoia 15.6.1?

Hi,

I keep trying to insert page numbers in numbers and it always starts at 126. How do I change the first page to 1?

I'm not sure if I need other info, just in case, I'm using Mac OS Sequoia 15.6.1.

I'm not sure why you're getting 126... I can't think of a case where I've seen anything other than 1...

In either case, the page numbering control is under Inspector -> Document -> Section ->

That looks like the Pages app, not Numbers.

In Numbers you have to be getting ready to print. I don't know why it would be starting at 126.
