Is color the ONLY reason to upgrade? I would think the advancements the new Pro models offer would be more important, but perhaps that's just me? That's most unlikely going to happen on a Pro Model iPhone. But you aren't speaking with Apple here. This is a user to user only forum and we don't work for Apple, nor have anything to do with the color choices Apple makes. It's also highly unlikely Apple will introduce new colors for the current model phones. They haven't introduced a new color during a models run, with the exception of Product Red, which hasn't happened in several years now.

A far simpler solution would be to buy whichever color is available and then put a pink case on it:

While there may have been some rumors regarding a potential and possible black color for the iPhone 17 Pro Max, just to clarify in previous models the "black" color was often referred to as "Midnight" and it appears that it was not

I will quickly take you through the colors of each iPhone 17 model this time round.

IPhone 17

1. Sage
2. Lavendar
3. Mist Blue
4. White
5. Black

iPhone 17 Pro Max & IPhone 17 Pro

1. Silver
2. Cosmic Orange
3. Deep Blue

While there may have been some rumors regarding a potential "black" color as mentioned above additionally, rumors are not official announcements and there is still some great colors to choose from. It is a possibility that in the future Apple will roll out more colors for the iPhone 17 Pro & Pro Max generations but at this present time there are only three colors to choose from.

Yep I am so with you …I like iPhone pro max in general but I seriously dislike the new color…my reaction was « why »😅😂 who chose those colours among an entire range of color…they have to choose those one 🙃😅😂..well good for me…I will keep my 16 pro max longer that range of color is sophisticated and simple at the same time eyes catching…Apple you have to do better I am afraid…

Different horses for different courses. I’m thrilled with my cosmic orange and my wife is looking very hard at the dark blue. It’s great to have different choices and some unique colors. If they aren’t for you, I get it, but at the end of the day, they’re just phones/cameras.
