Is airpod 3 capable of translating english to turkish?

i am planing to buy latest version of airpods and trying to understand if it can translate from any language to turkish?

You Can’t. Translating software nothing built into the AirPods. It is the device you are paring these with that would have such software in it. So, pair it with a device that has this translation software installed, and then perform this translation process.

I have a Apple 16 pro max and just got my air pod pro 3 for the specific live translation for Turkish and it does not give me the option for live translation. I live in Turkey and my boyfriend and friends are all Turkish. Hoped to be able to sit and at least look like I knew what they were talking about. So very disappointed. I pray they add Turkish to the list soon to use live translation.

add: I am still using my US cell service Verizon international plan.

Apple don't support Turkish yet. The answer is yes, the AirPod Pro 3s are capable of translating Turkish but it's not available yet. The languages supported are very limited at the moment (I am waiting for Thai) so it is just a question of waiting until it becomes available. Somebody has already posted the current languages that are supported by Apple and they are very limited at the moment.

In the meantime, try the Google Translate app on your iPhone.

So I guess even with a device that support apple intelligence as iPad or MacBook pair with the new AirPods wouldn't give this live translation feature

Right, it seems you have to have an iPhone running iOS 26.
