How to Sync iCloud Contacts with Outlook for Mac?
I’m trying to sync my iCloud contacts with Outlook on my Mac because I use iCloud on my iPhone but prefer managing emails and contacts in Outlook for work. At first, I wasn’t sure how to move everything over, so I started looking for tools that could help. While searching, I came across the MacSonik iCloud Backup Tool, which claims to export iCloud data, including emails and contacts, into Outlook-supported formats like PST. It looks like a safe option since it also offers features like duplicate removal and selective export.
But before I go ahead with it, I’m wondering if this is the best way to do it—or if there’s a simpler built-in method. For example, I’ve read that you can add your iCloud account directly in Outlook for Mac, which should sync contacts automatically. There are also third-party apps like ContactsMate or online services like SyncGene that can handle the sync. So now I’m stuck between using the MacSonik tool for a one-time export or choosing another method that might be more seamless for ongoing synchronization.
