Are you provided with an option to choose a carrier.....AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, etc....during the order process? If yes, follow the prompts when you receive the phone to set up the phone with the carrier that you have indicated that you will be using.
If not.....or you don't see an option to choose a particular carrier that you want to use..... then it will be up to you to choose a carrier and contact them to get service set up on your iPhone when the phone arrives.
