MacBook lid pops open when placed with the hinge facing upward

Hi everyone,

I’m using a 20 days MacBook Air M4. When placed normally on a desk, everything is fine. But if I put the laptop in a different position — with the hinge/lid opening facing straight upward — the screen pops open with just a light touch.

Is this normal behavior for MacBooks, or could it indicate a loose hinge? Has anyone experienced this?
