I wants to clear al files in the recent Finder folder.
Apps, and things that erases the actual files.
Found it works:
The Finder > Go menu option will clear recent Folders. To clear recent Items (i.e., files and applications that you've opened and servers that you've visited), select Apple menu > Recent Items > Clear menu.

Finder > Go > Recent Folders > Clear Menu is just as fast and safer.

FWIW, the Recents item in a Finder sidebar is in fact an application embedded deep within Finder.
It is the second most worthless feature ever... (second only to the "All Files" of some years ago (*)).
I have turned it on just for testing (who'd ever find this useful, I don't know). It showed me files from 2020... recent, huh?!
(*) WAIT... this is just "All My Files" rebranded! The actual Unix application inside Recents is still called "All My Files" 🤪

You cannot "clear" the Recents Smart Folder in the Finder Sidebar. You can remove it from the Sidebar if you want.
I did it. It worked using the commands I pasted.
It must be something particular to me and my machine (MB-Air M2 2022, 16GB, Sequoia 15.6.1). It doesn't work for me.
I used the commands written above, and worked.
FWIW, den.thed's post is about cleaning the Recents menu, not the Recents folder in the Finder Sidebar.
