Final Cut Pro Live Drawing is not working on iPadOS 26 and Apple Pencil Pro

Before i ask for a refund, maybe someone can help.

i downloaded the demo project, edited it, did the live drawing feature, and nothing comes out.

I have an iPad Pro M4 13", on Ipad OS 26, using a Pencil Pro, so I am updated with the hardware and software. One of the main reasons I bought this specific model is for the live drawing feature. But it's not working.

I've restarted my iPad, I've deleted and re-installed Final Cut, I dont know what else to do.

I mean if no one can respond or help by 24 hours, Ill just ask for a refund.

This works! 11.2 saved it. Live drawing now works just update your fcp for ipad to the latest one.

Apple does have tech support that will handle FCP issues. It's their standard tech support, it's not special to any product. They can and will help you. I've many students who've done it.

I’m having this issue as well! I’m SO bummed I updated to iOS 26. I’ve a project that is HEAVY on the live drawing (lyric video) and I can’t proceed! Hopefully Apple rolls out a fix soon.

Theres no live chat or email or phone support for final cut pro. Thats why Im here.

Way ahead of you Ben, again, thats why im here in the community hoping someone has an answer. The person i spoke with wasnt too certain about final cut pro for ipad and im waiting for a fix.

Apple has already mentioned an upcoming 11.2 update for the macOS version of FCP, and it is widely expected that an iPad version may be out at around the same time… here’s hoping that it comes soon.
