Apple Music and Music Settings keep crashing after latest iOS update

After updating to the latest iOS, Apple Music force closes within 2–3 seconds every time I open it. The Music section in Settings also crashes immediately, which makes it impossible to manage settings or disable Sync Library.

I have already tried the following:

  • Restarted iPhone multiple times (3x).

  • Deleted and reinstalled Apple Music (4x).

  • Reset all settings.

  • Tried offloading the app from iPhone Storage.

None of these steps worked. I also cannot clear or delete Apple Music data at all.

Impact:

  • Cannot use Apple Music at all.

  • Cannot access or change Music settings.

  • Device is stuck with Apple Music crashing continuously.

Device Details:

  • iPhone 14 Pro

  • iOS 26 (latest)

  • Apple Music [preinstalled, latest version]

Please advise if there is any workaround, or confirm if this is a known bug that will be addressed in an upcoming update.

I had a similar problem that showed up the same way but I was actually able to fix it by clearing the cache on my Music app. For anybody who doesn’t know how to do this, you just go to Settings > General > IPhone Storage > Music > Offload App > Offload App. I know that isn’t the solution to OP’s problem, but hopefully it helps someone. If you’re wondering, offloading the app will not delete your downloaded songs.
