How to remove drop down menu icons in Mac OS 26

Mac OS 26 Tahoe introduced sporadic icons on the left side of drop down menus making things look very cluttered and superfluous. I want just the text like in previous OSes. Anybody figure out how to get rid of these things?

I don't see any settings to disable them. There is also no parameter setting in Onyx. So I have to say it's not possible.
