Workout app issues after iOS 26 upgrade: Music not pausing, Siri announcements too soft
Workout APP has issues after iOS 26 upgrade, besides the issue that the music playing (AutoPlay Media) does not turn off when the Workout App is stopped, the Siri announcements are not very loud, Siri speaks too softly, far below the volume of the music (which due to the iOS 26 upgrade is now paused when Siri makes a Workout metric announcement, such as time, distance, heart rate, ..etc...
In the past, before the upgrade, once you selected a playlist (on the iPhone Watch App), when the Workout started so did the music and when the Workout ended the music stopped. Well, not anymore...unless you end the Workout with in ten or so seconds. Also the music selection is now on the Watch, not the phone. And the selection includes music that is not in my library and not anything I would listen to. So it's an extra? Like "Sounds of Innocence" that can't be deleted? Further the Siri announcements before, were audible...even though the music continued to play in the background. Siri spoke over the music, loud enough to hear... Now, when Siri makes a metric announcement the music pauses, but Siri hardly audible, she speaks too softly, far below the set music volume. If you are outdoors riding a bike, for example, wind noises, traffic noises, tire on pavement noises...etc...you cannot hear Siri make the metric announcement.

Original Title: Workout APP has some issues after iOS 26 upgrade, appears that Apple made some errors on functionality. Does not appear fixable without an engineering update....unless you know of something?
