USB Drive shows in finder and mounts but not on desktop
I have a USB drive that when plugged in mounts and shows in Finder but not on the desktop. Other USB drives work fine.
MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 15.6

Check your Finder settings. Under General > Show these items on the desktop make sure "External Disks" is checked.
