I have Microsoft Office 2021 Office, Home & Student (non Subscription) - Will it work with new Tahoe OS?

Here's what I found about that Microsoft has to say:

• Office 2021 (all non-subscription “one-time purchase” versions, including Home & Student) is supported under Microsoft’s lifecycle until October 13, 2026.

I would deduce from that:

• “Support” means Microsoft will provide bug fixes, security updates, etc., up until that date. After that, they drop it from updates, but the software doesn’t magically stop working (unless OS changes break compatibility).
• Microsoft is also more restrictive about which macOS versions new Office updates will support. For example, they tie updates to “the three most recent major macOS versions.”

This is not something new. Microsoft, like most major software providers, will typically only support their products on the newest versions of operating system ... regardless if it macOS or Windows.

I'm running Office 2019 with Tahoe and no issues although MS has stopped providing updates which really does not bother me at all. Thus I would assume your 2021 should function without issue.
