USB Mic Connects to GarageBand but Isn't Working

Hi there,

I'm having a goofy situation happening where my USB mic is connecting to GarageBand, but it isn't picking up audio. I've thought it might be this particular mic, so I tried another and still nothing. I have selected it in GarageBand as well as in my Mac's output/input system settings, but still nothing. Can anyone help me figure out what I'm doing wrong here?
