Hi there
I have just purchased a Lexmark MC3426i multi function device. The printer is working fine, but the scanner is not loading in image capture and i get the following error message. I am running macOS Sequoia on a Macbook Air. Any advice would be very welcome. Thanks so much

+1 👍 Sadly, printer vendors don't ever highlight the need for their ICA driver on Macs ...
... and in this case it's even hidden below big banners saying to use Airprint or download a firmware update. You have to click the tiny text "Additional downloads compatible with Lexmark MC3426i"

I think we have a good idea how the " Top Ranking replies " are chosen, without any human interventions

I didn't even see it myself until the 3rd time I looked over the entire page. The Airprint and Firmware banners totally grabbed my attention.
And, yes, I am also completely baffled by the "Top Ranking Reply" choices. Your post should be the Top Reply and I just asked the mods to change it to yours.

I had checked before replying earlier, and the OP's Lexmark is not supported by Vuescan, so I didn't suggest it.
Yeah' the Lexmark site isn't as cut and dry as Epson, Brother and others.
I wasn't worried so much about whose reply was selected, but more about the prematurity and how some are chosen.
