How do I add apps.app to my dock?

The new apps.app in macOS 26.0.1 provides access to apps, but if I have to go to my apps folder to find and launch it, it's not much use to me, since I can launch any app from that folder. But when I run it, it doesn' t add an icon to the dock, so I can't right-click it and choose Keep in Dock.

If you had removed Launchpad from your Dock at some past point prior to upgrading to Tahoe, the Apps app will not appear in the Dock (it would have replaced Launchpad there). To put it on the Dock, open the Applications folder, click on the Apps app and drag it down to the Dock. It will then be accessible from the Dock.
