After updating to MacOS Tahoe external USB storage devices no longer detected

So my problem is that after updating to MacOS 26.x Tahoe, my Mac refuses to detect USB storage devices that are connected to my Thunderbolt dock. This happens after my Macbook has gone into sleep / powersave, if the computer is recently started from a complete reboot/power off, everything works fine.

I have tried two different Thunderbolt docks, the HP G4 with latest firmware and the OWC Thunderbolt 4 hub. The result is exactly the same for both. I have to unplug and reconnect the dock entirely from my Macbook for drived to be detected again. Doesn't matter if the storage device is a SSD, classic spin drive or even my drone. They get detected if connected directly to my Macbook but not when connected to one of the docks USB-C och USB-A ports. On the other hand, power supply and USB-C to displayport from Thunderbolt docks are working fine and are not affected by this bug. All previous versions of MacOS since 2022 have been working just fine. This is clearly a SMC / Powersave bug in MacOS 26 Tahoe.
