I recently received a new iphone 17 Pro and in the setup not all of my Music library was brought over. It looks like the music from CD's that I had on my old iphone 13 Pro was not imported into my new iphone, and they no longer show up on itunes. My Albums have greyed out songs that do not play. How do I get these back without reimporting each CD into my itunes library?

Weird one really. The only music I had access to on iPhone were items bought on iTunes. None of my own transfers from CDs.
I have my music library on my Mac so I plugged phone in to Mac and ran a sync on music.
This worked. Now had acces to all my own stuff but NOT any longer to iTunes purchases. So it sort of flipped.
However - after an overnight automatic backup of phone all suddenly became available.
The ways of Apple are indeed curious....
I figured out my problem. My main problem: I forgot that I used to synch my music by hard wire connection to the phone via the Music app. A "well, duh" moment for me to be sure, but it has been a while since I've added new music. Everything is now playable as always. Hats off Andy for the reminder.
FWIW, I just also updated to iOS 26.1 today. Whether that is the solution to the dozens of similar problems, I don't know.
No, I have not support on loading music. It seems that any music that I had loaded into iTunes from CDs was not loaded back on to my new iPhone17.
I also have issues with iphone calls on my RAM Uconnect. I can hear people who I call or who call me, but they cannot hear me. If I delete my iPhone17 and then re-set it up then everything is good until I turn my truck off and then restart it and then people cannot hear me on phone calls. Frustrating. I had a iPhone 13 and everything worked with Uconnect phone calls.
Same here. From the looks of the "me too" list more than two dozen people have the same problem. It also doesn't look like this subforum is being monitored. Maybe it's a glitch and they're working on it. In the meantime, it's Spotify for me . . . .
Have you received any kind of response from Apple Support on this issue? Looks like i lost half my music collection when transferring from Iphone 16 Pro Max to 17 Pro Max.
