I restored iPod 6 and now it's just a drive? Help!

I could see my old iPod on Apple Music and in finder. It wasn't syncing so in finder I checked software update and wanted to restore it to factory settings. It took all night restoring and I ejected it, plugged it back in and its gone from Music and is only a drive on finder.

I'm using a 2019 MacBook Pro
