Disappearing note after iCloud sync between iPhone and MacBook

I was working on one of my notes on my phone, but wanted to continue the work on my MacBook. I started the app on my MacBook for it to sync to where I was (as I still had the note open on my phone), and it synced all the other notes, except for the one I was working on, as in the note never showed on my MacBook. I didn’t think much of it and couldn’t be bothered to dig deeper, so just continued on my phone.

The next morning I go into my phone to look at the note, and it is not there!

Somehow, the new iCloud backup/sync I did with my MacBook, rewrote everything and disappeared my note!

I have gone through all the steps online of checking deleted folders and having latest iOS, restarting phone, etc etc, but nothing worked!

I believe this is a glitch and not even sure if Apple knows about it. Spoke to customer support but couldn’t help me and wanted to pass me on to Senior Advisors, which I guess can only be done over the phone, but I am in a region where there is no Apple support so will not be able to take this further..

I had so many important things on that note and it has set me back immensely!

Has anyone ever experienced this?
