Does Apple deliberately make Safari run slowly with Google apps/sites

Google apps like messages.google.com run unusably slowly on my new computer. Does Apple deliberately do this to punish people for using Google? I'm ready for the apocalypse this is so annoying

You should probably add more detail to your question — to which the answer is "no" — but from its context you appear to be using a personally owned Mac for the convenience of your employer. If I am correct in that assumption, not only is that choice an entirely optional one, it is a horrible idea.

Either compel your employer provide a separate computer for their use, or purchase one for their use. The choice is yours.

Furthermore, if you are compelled to use Google products, don't buy a Mac. Buy a Chromebook.

Because...reasons..., I use Gmail through Safari on my Mac. I do not have a problem.

If I'm accessing my work Gmail, I use Chrome, not because it's any because it's what we have at work and it's just easier. Also, it saves switching between Google accounts on one browser. I haven't had any issues with either.
