CDs not permanently importing into iTunes on multiple Macs

This just started happening recently (Oct 2025). I've loaded hundreds of CD's into my iTunes with no issues so I am very confused. I've tried it with two of my apple computers and it's the same with both, my mid 2012 Mac Book Pro & my newer 2024 iMac 27". It's the same with all my CD's - it not the CD's fault.
