Bottom speaker not working on new iPhone 17 Air

I recently purchased my iphone 17 air and suddenly bottom speaker stopped working or sound is not coming instead every kind of sound coming from ear speaker. please help. I restarted the phone, even reset too. Nothing is working

Go to Settings/Accessibility/Audio & Visual and make sure Balance is in the middle. If it is, move it, then move it back to the middle.


If neither fixes it contact Apple support for a hardware warranty repair.

There's actually a really good reason why what you think would be a bottom speaker on iPhone Air isn't working. And that's because iPhone Air only has one speaker at the top of the phone. iPhone Air doesn't feature two speakers like the other iPhone's do. iPhone Air doesn't feature stereo speakers at all. What you see on the bottom is for the microphone and is not a speaker.

It's amazing how often people remember things which never were. It would be impossible for something not there to begin with to stop working. And there's no speaker there. There has to be sacrifices for making a phone so thin. And a bottom speaker was one such sacrifice.
