AirPods Pro animation not showing on iPhone 16 Pro Max

Hi There m- I just picked up my AirPods Pro3, took less than a minute to pair with my 16 Pro max. However, the animation doesn’t pop-up on my phone when opening the lid. Anyone know how to fix this issue? I made certain that they both charged fully. I am still upset that my pro 2 is dead for no reason and Genius Bar couldn’t fixed it. He suggested to get a new one, and now this is brand new and I’m having issue again??? Please helps. Thanks

Which IOS are you running? I had the same problem with IOS 18.7 on my 15 Pro Max but it works fine on the new 17 Pro Max running IOS 26.0.1.

I didn’t either but I wanted a new iPhone and that shipped with 26.0.1.

So far so good! It works with AirPod Pro 2s and 3s.

I was going to get the 17 PM LOLOL then I heard about the shutdown so waited to see if the shutdown was gonna happened. Then it did. Hmm I may have to update the 26.0.1. Will let you know after the update. Thanks 🙏🏻
