Apply TV App does not work on Insignia Fire TV 2020

I am able to log into the Apple TV App and watch trailers and episode recaps, but as soon as it gets to the actual tv show or a movie, I get an Unable to Play error. I have restarted the app, cleared the cache and app data. I have reset the TV and the router. I have spent hours on the phone with Apple Customer support and Fire TV customer support. I have found MANY threads on Apple Community boards, Reddit, and elsewhere of people having the exact same problem going back 5 years. Not a single thread has an resolution. I do not understand how so many of us have this issue but Apple has not fixed it. The customer support people I have spoken to are perplexed. Can this not be fixed?
