Mac OS Tahoe: How to Recover Bookmarks?

Mac OS Tahoe lost all my bookmarks. Then yesterday my bookmarks reappeared in a different format; today mu bookmarks are nowhere to be found AGAIN. I asked Apple for help; then my bookmarks reappeared in a different format but, now, they are gone again. I'm really frustrated; how have users ReCovered Bookmarks?

Tahoe has a new bookmarks format. In the side bar in Safari you need to use the "..." menu. (at top right). Open that and pick compact and uncheck "show folders at top". This should show your expanded bookmarks. If you need to restore old bookmarks you can access that file in Time machine at ~library/Safari/bookmarks.plist
