Cannot receive Facetime calls in iPhone 16 Pro

I have restarted many times. I can initiate FT calls, but I cannot receive them. Also, my ringer volume resets to zero constantly. I've reset many times. Podcasts bleed over into calls I initiate. Yes, I've restarted. I bought the phone two weeks ago, so I went to Verizon. Verizon told me it was defective, but that I had to go to the Apple store to replace it. I have Applecare+ for four devices, yet I cannot make a genius bar appointment because the site keeps me in a constant loop. I may never buy another Apple product again. Why should I pay tons of money if the devices are bad and I cannot get support?
