Is buying an Epson Expression Premium XP-7100 printer a good choice??

Is buying an Epson Expression Premium XP-7100 printer a good choice as a home computer? This would be for basic printing and scanning purposes?

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 15.6

Short answer: Maybe.

You really didn't provide us with any specifics other than it should provide basic printing and scanning. There are literally dozens of printers that can do that.

The more you can provide us, the better we can offer you potential printers to choose from. All we know is that you have a 16" MacBook Pro, running macOS 15.6, to use with it.

I'd like to replace my current Epson Workforce 545. It's served me well over the years but no longer scans wirelessly and then there's the plastic tray pieces that have broken. A new XP7100 would serve my purposes and is compatible with AirPrint. My major concern is how easy or difficult will this be to install and uninstall the old WorkForce printer.
