Battery icon is too bright — HDR bug

Hi, I'm on macOS 26.0.1 (stable), Macbook Pro 14, M4 Pro chip.

The battery icon on the menu bar seems to break HDR/Truetone/both, and the battery icon is glowing way brighter than other icons on the menu bar, not sure if it's visible on the photos. I'm a little afraid that this will burn in the OLED screen and honestly just didn't expect for such an obvious visual bug to be in a stable version of macOS.

Does anyone else has the same problem?

I have the same model and I do not notice it being more or less bright than other icons. In addition to reporting the problem, if you are concerned about your display, I suggest you remove the icon from the menu bar for now. You can always easily reach it from Control Center. I do not expect any damage to your display but this is a way to play it safe.
