Moving existing calendar from Mac Book Pro on macOS 26 to Mac mini same OS

I previously was running Sequoia on both. I upgraded to 26 and the calendar on the Pro upgraded with the OS, but the one on the mini didn't. I've tried creating an archive on the Pro, saving it off onto the iCloud Drive, then importing it into the Calendar on the mini. It starts the import and at the end tells me it failed. I'm at a loss of what to do. I'm not seeing "On My Mac" as a choice either, just as an additional point of information.
