Dock randomly disappears on Mac despite auto hide being disabled
Even with Auto hide button not selected, the dock will disappear randomly. ???

Other users have mentioned this issue, which is believed to be a bug. Someone was able to "correct" it by disabling the screensaver (and perhaps a reboot). Hopefully this will be corrected in the next version of macOS Tahoe.
