Creating a separate Apple ID for work-related Apple Podcasts

I already have a personal Apple ID but I need to create a new one for the work I am doing for a client, specifically to do with Apple Podcasts.

Can I do this and if so how do I do it and how do I ensure the accounts are kept separate?

Thanks.

While "Macs allow for multiple accounts", it is important to distinguish Apple Accounts and computer accounts. Yes a Mac can have multiple Apple Accounts, but each Apple Account needs to be in its own user account on the computer. You basically want to set up an independent persona the way you would if there was a second person using your computer.

What people want to do is use multiple accounts on iPhones and iPads. That is only partly possible for specific purposes, but what you want to do is fully tenable. First set up a new user account on the computer --> Add a user or group on Mac - Apple Support You can have multiple computer accounts without different Apple Accounts. You then want to set up an Apple Account for that new computer user.
